App lock

An optional fingerprint, face or screen-lock check when the app opens.

Turning it on

1. In the app, open your profile.
2. Under App lock, turn on Require fingerprint or face. On a phone without either, it is Require your screen lock.
3. Choose how long the app can be in the background before it asks again: 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 1 hour.

How it behaves

It asks when the app opens, and when you come back to it after the wait you chose. Your phone's PIN or pattern always works too, so a wet finger never locks you out.

It is set per phone, and signing out turns it off, so the next person to sign in on that phone starts without your lock. Your fingerprint and face are checked by the phone itself and never reach us.
