Tap to share your card
Hold your phone to somebody else's and your digital card opens on theirs, with no app on their side.
Sharing
- Open your card in the app. It is on the Home tab.
- Press Tap to share.
- Hold the backs of the two phones together until yours says Sent.
Their phone needs NFC turned on and its screen unlocked. They do not need the app — your card opens in their browser.
Which phones it works with
Receiving: most Android phones, and iPhone XS or newer.
Sending needs an Android phone whose NFC can act as a tag. Most can; if yours cannot, the app says so and offers your QR code instead.
When a tap is awkward
Press Show QR instead and your card's code fills the screen, for somebody to scan across a table. The same screen offers Add to Google Wallet when your account has it turned on.
Every tap is counted in the card's analytics, alongside its scans.
