Your referral link and affiliate commission
Everybody has their own referral link. Your company earns a share of what the companies you bring in pay, sent to its Stripe account.
Your link
Open Settings, then Affiliate. Your own referral link is at the top, with a button to copy it. Everybody in your company has their own, so each person's referrals are counted for them.
Somebody who opens your link and signs up for a new account within 30 days is your referral. A company only ever counts for the first link it came through, and signing yourself up does not count.
What your company earns
A share of what each referred account pays for its plan, monthly or yearly, and for its add-ons on the monthly bill. Usage charges, such as scans or texts over the plan, earn nothing. It is earned for as long as the referred account stays a customer, while both its account and yours are active.
The commission is your company's, whoever in it shared the link. If a payment is refunded in full or lost in a dispute, its commission is taken back from the next payout.
The tiers
Bronze — 5%, to start.
Silver — 10%, from 10 active paying referrals.
Gold — 15%, from 25.
Platinum — 20%, from 50.
An active paying referral is a referred account that is active and paid something that month; a free account does not count. Your company's referrals all count together. Reaching a higher tier applies straight away, to the next payment a referred account makes. Moving down waits: the first month below keeps the tier, and a second month in a row below moves you down.
Getting paid
- In Settings, Affiliate, press Connect Stripe. Somebody who manages billing in your company can do this. If your company already connected Stripe to take booking payments in Scheduling, that account is used and there is nothing to do.
- Finish Stripe's own sign-up. Settings, Affiliate shows Connected when Stripe is ready.
- On the last weekday of each month, what your company is owed is sent to that Stripe account, once it reaches $25. A smaller balance waits for the next month.
Where to see it
Settings, Affiliate shows your company's tier and how many more active paying referrals reach the next one, what it has earned, what it is owed and what has been sent, and the referrals: yours, or your whole company's.
