Add-ons and the monthly bill
The four add-ons, how they are counted each day, the free days, and one bill a month for add-ons and usage.
The four add-ons
Signatures — $1 a month for each covered mailbox: one a signature group would sign and that is not on the Never-sign list. Business and Enterprise.
Scheduling — $8 a month for each person who has it. Starter, Business and Enterprise.
Extra cards — $1 a month for each published card beyond the number your plan includes. Starter, Business and Enterprise.
Events — $12 a month for each person who has it. Business and Enterprise.
Who has Scheduling and Events is set in access groups, or on Starter by a tick on the Team page. Who has what, under Settings → Access groups, lists them.
Counted daily
Each add-on is counted once a day. A month's charge is the rate × the unit-days ÷ the days in the month, so a person who has Scheduling for ten days of a thirty-day month costs a third of the monthly rate. Take somebody off and the count stops from the next day.
Nothing is charged at the moment you switch an add-on on. It goes on the monthly bill.
Free days the first time
The first time your company uses each add-on, its first 14 days are free. That happens once per add-on per company: closing the account and opening another does not start them again. The bill says when the free days end.
Without a card on file, an add-on runs through its free days and then stops until a card is added. It then says: The free days of Scheduling have ended. Add a card in Plan & usage to keep using Scheduling. Adding a card turns it back on.
This month so far
Plan & usage shows the Add-ons card and, beside it, This month so far: one line for each add-on and usage meter, what each comes to so far, the total, and the day the bill is made. Under Free days, each add-on shows free until a date, free days used, or stopped, add a card to keep using it.
The usage bars show what your plan includes and how much of it is used: users, QR codes, short links, cards, landing pages, forms, dashboards, API tokens, webhook deliveries, custom domains, media storage and scans.
Usage past the allowance
Scans — on Business and Enterprise, $5 per million past the plan's monthly scans. On Free and Starter new analytics pause until next month instead.
Text alerts — 3¢ for each text past the plan's included texts, up to the monthly ceiling your admin sets.
Webhook deliveries — $0.50 per 1,000 past the plan's included deliveries. Deliveries are never held back.
Media storage — 100 MB included, then $0.20 per GB a month, counted on each day's stored size.
One bill a month
Add-ons and usage go on one invoice a month, made on the 1st for the month before. Your plan stays its own subscription, monthly or yearly. On a yearly plan, add-ons and usage are still billed monthly.
A month that runs up a large bill can be charged part of the way through. This month so far then shows what is already charged and what is still to charge. Figures on the page are before any sales tax.
Every invoice is in the billing portal, reachable from Plan & usage.
If a payment fails
Your admins are emailed, a banner saying Your last bill wasn't paid appears on every page, and the card is tried again. Update the card from Plan & usage.
If the bill is still unpaid after 7 days, paid features and add-ons pause until it is paid. Your codes and links keep working the whole time, and paying turns everything back on.
Accounts that are not charged
A reseller's client is billed through its reseller, so nothing on its own Plan & usage is charged to it. A reseller's own account is free.
