Scan a card or badge and save the contact
Scan a digital card, a vCard QR code, an event badge or a paper business card, and save the person to your phone.
Scanning
- On the Home tab, press Scan.
- Point the camera at a digital business card, a vCard QR code or an event badge. The person is saved as a contact.
- For a paper business card, photograph it. Check the details it read, correct anything it got wrong, and save.
Scan appears on plans that include the contact manager — Starter and above.
Into your phone's contacts
Open any contact and press Save to phone. The details are handed to your phone's contacts app, filled in, so you choose where they are saved. The app never reads your phone's address book.
Checking people in at an event
Choose an event on the Home tab and scan badges at the door. Each person is checked in, and everybody you scan is tagged with the event.
