A company directory

One page listing your people, who gets in, and who can see it.

Turning it on

Under Team, choose who can see it and give it an address. It then lives at `lynkarr.com/d/your-word`, and at `/directory` on your own domain if you have one.

**Only people signed in to this account** is the safer of the two that show anything. **Anybody with the address** is a public page, and only then can a search engine find it.

Who appears on it

Only somebody whose own card is set to **can be found**. Turning the directory on does not put anybody on it who did not choose to be, and one person can stay off it without asking anybody.

That is two separate decisions on purpose. A list of your people in one place — names, job titles, direct dials and photographs, in the order somebody would want them — is worth considerably more to whoever is writing a convincing email to your finance team than any single card is. Somebody should have to agree to be in it.

Set the Team field on a card to group the directory by department. Without it everybody lands in one alphabetical column, which is the list nobody can find anybody in.

Searching it

The search covers name, job title, company and team, and ignores accents in both directions — searching for `jose` finds José. It filters the page you already have rather than asking the server, so it keeps working on a bad connection.
