Cards for a whole team
Two ways to make forty cards without building forty cards.
Create for everyone
On the Digital cards page, "Create for everyone" makes a card for each person with a login, filled in from their account.
Import a list
For people who do not have logins — most of a company, usually — use "Import a list" and paste or upload a spreadsheet.
- Export your staff list as CSV from wherever it lives.
- Open Digital cards, then Import a list.
- Paste it or choose the file. Column names are read loosely: name, title, company, email, phone, website and address are understood however your export spells them, and separate first and last name columns are joined.
- Press Create the cards. Every card arrives as a draft.
- Review them, then publish the ones that are right.
Nothing an import creates is published. Forty pages appearing on the internet because somebody uploaded a file is not something this should be able to do.
Rows that were skipped
A row with no name cannot become a card, so it is reported with its line number rather than turned into something called "Untitled". Two people with the same name both get cards; the second gets a numbered address.
