Making and editing a short link

Create one, choose its ending, and change where it goes later.

Making one

1. Open Short links and press New link.
2. Paste the destination.
3. Optionally choose the ending yourself — the part after the slash. Leave it blank and we generate one.
4. Add a placement label if the same destination is going in several places; it is how you tell the email from the poster in reports.
5. Add UTM tags if the destination's own analytics need them, and a campaign if it belongs with other things.

Changing one

The destination can change whenever you like. The ending cannot: it may already be in an email or printed on something, and quietly repointing it is better than breaking it.
