NFC tags: tap or scan
Write a Lynkarr address to an NFC sticker or card, point it at anything with a link, and count every tap like a scan.
What a tag does
A tag holds a short Lynkarr address, not the destination. A tap on it is counted as a tap of that tag, with the time, country, city and device, and the person is sent on.
Point it at a QR code, short link, card, page, form, file or booking page, or at any web address. You can change where it goes at any time, even after the tag is locked.
Adding and writing a tag
- Open NFC tags in the side menu and press Add a tag, or open an item's NFC taps tab and press Write a new tag.
- Choose where a tap goes and give the tag a name.
- Tick Lock the tag after writing if nobody should rewrite it. It is not ticked unless you tick it.
- Choose On this phone in Chrome on Android, or On another phone to scan a code and finish there.
- Hold the tag to the back of the phone until it says it is written.
Reading the taps
Each item has an NFC taps tab with its tags, their taps and last tap, and its taps and scans by day. A tag's own page shows taps by day, devices and places.
Taps are kept apart from scans everywhere they are counted. In Reports they are their own channel, NFC tags.
Removing a tag
Remove a tag from its page. Its address stops working and shows that the tag is no longer active, its place on your plan is freed, and the taps it already had stay in your reports.
Which plan
Starter has three tags. Business has ten plus one for each user. Enterprise has as many as you need.
